Skip Morgan

Skip is proof that Red Cross youth leadership camps are an excellent investment in the future of the Red Cross. Skip’s first involvement with the Red Cross was by attending an LDC in southern California following his junior year in high school back in 1971. Since then, Skip has continued to volunteer for the Red Cross for over 40 years, served on 3 different Boards of Directors in 3 chapters in California, wrote and directed for 7 years the first LDC held in the Orange County Chapter of the Red Cross back in 1979, served as a disaster volunteer, and has taught CPR/AED and First Aid for 40 plus years.

Skip was asked to write the curriculum and direct LDC here in the Utah Region of the Red Cross back in 2009 with the first years camp being held in 2010.

Skip is retired after 30 years in the financial services industry. Despite his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, Skip stays extremely busy working with and mentoring the youth volunteers of the Red Cross here in the state of Utah.
